William L. Byrd, Jr., “Bill” age 70, of Broomall, PA. Passed away September 29, 2023.
Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a retired Philadelphia police officer. He loved all Philadelphia sports, animals, and especially his family.
Bill is predeceased by his mother; Elaine (nee Gibson), father; William Byrd, sisters; Patricia Judge, Robin Byrd, and brother; Michael Byrd.
Survived by loving and devoted wife; Lee Ann Havey, brother; Louis Byrd, many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers in law, mother-in-law; Midge Havey, and godson; Neil McConigley.
Services and Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill‘s name to Providence Animal shelter, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA 19063, would be appreciated.
