Born in Philadelphia, Vince was the son of the late Vincent and Kathryn (Meyer) Reiley. He graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys in 1961. He worked at the Philadelphia Inquirer for more than 30 years and was a proud member of Teamsters Union 628. Previously, he worked at General Electric in Southwest Philadelphia for 12 years. Vince was predeceased by his adored daughter Susan Reiley. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Bonnie (Chapin); his cherished children, Vince (Jaimee), Nancy, Jennifer, Daniel (Jacqueline), and Steven (Jamie); his eight beloved grandchildren, Vincent, Gavin, Dean, Olivia, Lillian, Cole, Logan, and Nathan; and his brother James Reiley and sister Eileen Wakely (Ed); as well as many nieces and nephews. Vince was a man of faith, a history buff, and a devout Wawa coffee drinker. In his younger years, he loved golfing and deep-sea fishing. He was an avid (long-suffering) Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoyed Scrabble games with Bonnie, and Pinochle nights with his sister-in-law (Debbie) and brother-in-law (Billy), while showing no mercy. He loved sharing his daily comics and listening to his varied music collection. However, it was his role as a doting grandfather (“Pop Pop”) over the last 15 years that was the highlight of his life. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him, but impossible to forget. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Saturday, December 11th 8:30 AM- 10:15 AM at the Kish Funeral Home of Broomall, PA 2811 West Chester Pike Broomall, Pa 19008. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Drexel Hill, PA 19026 In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Vince’s honor to one of his favorite charities, the Wounded Warrior Project; Tunnel to Towers Foundation; or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
