Shannon 1953~2022 Joseph H. Shannon, age 68, of Aldan, PA, passed away on February 28, 2022. Joe was a member of AOH Division 4 “Black Jack Kehoe” and passionate about Irish culture. He loved his family, especially his 10-month-old granddaughter, Brigid, who had a special place in his heart. He enjoyed listening to Irish music, watching golf, and taking long drives with his family. In his younger years, he played many sports and went by the nickname “Bombo” when he played softball at Finnegan Playground. His Southwest friends would know him as “Jaws”. Joe always talked fondly of his times working in the Acme warehouse and the shared comradery. He enjoyed meeting students from all over the world when driving for Drexel University and hearing about their traditions. Joe always knew someone wherever he went and found connections with the people he met. Son of the late Anne Marie and Horace Shannon. Survived by his wife Margaret “Marge” (nee Partrick); his daughter Theresa Crowley (Matthew), his granddaughter Brigid Shannon Crowley; his brother Bernard (Linda) Shannon, and sisters Frances O’Hara (the late William), Betsy Shannon, and Anne Marie McKinney (James); also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Wednesday, March 9th from 9:30AM-10:45AM with his Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM (ALL IN CHURCH).
