Beloved Husband of the late Gertrude (Trudy) Smith. Devoted Father of Kathryn Cavalieri (Michael), Linda and Carol Smith, Donna Latorre (Joseph), Diana Gonzales (Michael) and Dawn Reynolds (John). Adoring Grandfather to 10 grandchildren and the (late Joseph D. Latorre, Jr); 11 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Anna May Valentine and Kathryn Jennings; Andrew, David and Robert Smith; Preceded in death by late George Smith. Brother-In-Law of Bernadette Probst. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Memorial visitation with family, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Kish Funeral Home Inc. 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, Pa 19008, with funeral services to follow at 12:30 pm. You will be missed, I was glad I was able to see you on Saturday along with the rest of the family to be there to comfort you, that is the most important thing we can all ask for is at the end to be surrounded by the people we love the most.
