I'm very sad and sorry to see this , I had her as my high school Religion teacher at John W Hallahan high school I'm of the graduating class of 1985 , I remember and apply a lot of what she taught in class in life and I will never forget her , I also will never forget watching Something for Joey and the story of John and Joey and how proud she was of them both
Ms. Bianco was truly a wonderful woman of God. She would encourage and push one toward excellence. A constant reminder of humilty and wit were her gifts. I had a teacher/student relationship with Ms. Bianco at Hallahan HS. I often tell stories of my interactions with her from my HS years (84-88). I actually checked Ms. Bianco in for a flight about 3 years ago. At first she pretended to recall me. I teased her and reminded her of my name during those years and the lightbulb went bright!! She was ecstatic to see me. That was my last time seeing her. What a great memory to cherish. Rest well, Ms. Bianco.
Joan was a treasured friend to all our family.
Her kindness and thoughtfulness, her delightful personality, and her genuine caring enriched our lives. She told great stories; she made us laugh; and she amazed us with her enthusiasm and adventurous spirit. Joan left us with wonderful memories. We loved her so.
