Elizabeth “Betty” Benner

Date of Death: October 16, 2017

Benner, Elizabeth “Betty”, On October 16, 2017, of Newtown Square Pa. preceded in death by her beloved husband, John H. Benner, III, as well as her daughter, Deborah. She is survived by her son, Dr. John A. Benner IV (Judith) and her daughter Bonnie E. Miller (Peter), five grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchilden. Betty is a veteran of WWII. Serving as a sergeant in the Marine Corps. She enjoyed all her summers on the beaches of Ocean City, NJ, volunteering for the American Red Cross, and traveling extensively around the world. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s memory can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by going to their website at secure.nationalmssociety.org.
