Edward Thomas Goetz, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 81.

He is survived by his nephew Michael Goetz and his wife Debra, his nephew Charles Goetz, his niece Kimberly Goetz, and dear friends Matt and Tricia Miclette and Wales Martindale, who were an important part of his life. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Barbara Goetz, his parents Edward and Mary Goetz, and his brother Charles Goetz.

Edward dedicated his life to education, focusing on supporting children with special needs. He served as an Administrator for Special Needs Education with the Palm Beach County School District, where his passion and leadership made a lasting impact.

A devout Catholic, Edward was a former Brother of the Holy Cross and an active member of Saint Joan of Arc Parish in Boca Raton, where he found deep fulfillment volunteering with the Care Ministry.

He is also remembered for his deep affection for his dog, Annie, who will be lovingly cared for by close family friends.

A memorial Mass will be held in his honor on August 10 at 12:15 PM at St. Joan of Arc Church in Boca Raton, Florida. Burial will take place on September 20 at 12:00 PM at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pennsylvania.
