Dear Jeanette and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Cousin David's passing. He was always so kind to me and my mother.
He visited our family on Sundays when he was stationed at Homestead Air Force Base during his time there. I was very little, but his visits and the letters he wrote to us from Vietnam meant a lot to us. He always called my mother when she was widowed and kept in touch. He helped me through a difficult time after she died. He visited me when I was in Philadelphia for work and arranged a visit with the other cousins. He was funny and had a huge heart. I will always be grateful to him for telling me some family history, and stories about our grandparents. He shared some stories about his time in the military. I always enjoyed talking to him and I'm glad I got to see him in March at Aunt Norma's birthday party. I will miss him. He left us too soon. My heart goes out to you, Jeanette.
My mom would always say, Remember the good times.
May he Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was a unique individual. If you needed anything he was always willing to lend a helping hand and tell you a story which would make you forget what you even stopped in the storeroom for. LOL...His little black book (with every peco code in it) he guarded in his shirt pocket with his life. Rest in Peace. My prayers and condolences go out to his entire family!
