Diane, Mike, Michael, and Lania, I am so very sorry for your loss, particularly in these difficult times. I feel lucky to have gotten to spend time with Anne, singing karaoke, hearing stories of Michael's younger days playing baseball, and all of the special memories she shared with you, Diane. I am sure these, along with the many other special moments you shared together, will give you strength through these sad days. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. With Deepest Sympathy, McKelette

Lois Dower left a message on October 14, 2020:
Diane, Mike, Michael, and Lania, The death of a mother/grandmother is the first sorrow wept without her, so welcome every extra tear you shed--it comes from Heaven. Anne was a fond friend, and we share in your sorrow during your especially painful time. Knowing how very close you were with your mom, Diane, makes her passing all the more painful, but it surely also gives you solace. Too, Grandmom's love and adoration for you, Michael, and the way you mirrored it back, was truly beautiful to behold. Moreover, her extension of love for Lania meant so very much. Our many fun times together, sharing songs and smiles, eating Mike's hand-churned ice cream, and watching the fireworks over the lake, will remain with us always. Too, we are glad that Paul was able to perform Anne's favorite songs as you shared your special, but difficult, moments with her; it was, indeed, an honor. Of course, her serene Summer-Wind face and enthusiastic Effingham laughter have ensured that the songs will forever be dedicated to her. May tender and joyous memories soften your grief and ease your pain. Heartfelt condolences, Lois and Paul Dowers
