Margaret T. Moffa

June 8, 1936 - October 23, 2021

Moffa Margaret T. Moffa, age 85, of Essington, PA passed away on October 23, 2021 Margaret enjoyed art, crafts, photography and sewing. She loved long road trips and days at the beach with her family. Outgoing and social, she was often the life of the party. Enrolled in Community College of Philadelphia once her children were grown, she enjoyed studying art history, astronomy, creative writing, anthropology, photography, and photojournalism. Later in life she looked forward to family events with her many grandchildren. She was an avid reader and adapted to online media and e-books, enjoying mysteries and the classics. Predeceased by 2 granddaughters: Nicole and Donna. Mother of Fedele “Fred” Moffa III (Theresa), Jayne “Susie” Burket, and Michael Moffa; Grandmother of Jessica (Jason), Gary, Fedele IV (Briana), Michael (Gina), Theresa (James), and Heather. Great grandmother of Victoria, Giovanni, James, Krista, Fedele V, Braylee, Annaleigh, Lili, Dejea, Jayden and Ariella. Great-great grandmother of Ryan. Also survived by her sister Jayne Forester (Raymond) and ex-husband Fedele Moffa Jr. (Rosemary), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services and internment at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. ARR: KSH FUNERAL HOME

I'm going to miss you Big Marge. We may not of seen each other as much as usual this past year, but we didn't have to. We knew you were always thinking of us, and we were always thinking of you. And you made certain that we all had childhood memories that we would carry with us forever. You definitely took your role as grandmom to the next level. We love you.

I met Marge in 1998 or 1999. She was a fun person with so many interests and such a sweetheart. Whenever I called the house and she answered she always sounded excited to hear I was calling and it livened up my day to hear her voice. She was a bright spot in the world, and a lot of people are going to miss her.

My condolences to my cousins children, and family members. May God Bless your soul Margaret. A beautiful person.
