KAPUSTA 1949 – 2020 John J. Kapusta, age 71, of Lansdowne, PA. Born and raised in Philadelphia. John began work at the B&O Railroad (now CSX) in 1967, filling various office positions before retiring in 2009. Son of the late John Kapusta and Mary (nee Podgorski) Kapusta. The untimely passing of John means we suddenly lost a husband, a father, a father-in-law, a brother, a son-in-law, an uncle, a friend. He lived a life so BIG in so many ways. John was an all around amazing person whose personality could never be contained, nor his love for his family. A treasure, a gift, a once-in-a-lifetime guy. Our memories are many – he fit enough life for five lifetimes, and he shared his passions with abundance and enthusiasm. Whether he was fencing, playing tennis, biking, power lifting, skiing, kayaking or keeping Checkers from attacking the squirrels, he put 100% into his efforts while encouraging anyone who was brave enough to tag along. If one could live a life half as well as he did, they will live a life of blessings. Survived by his beloved wife; Susan (nee Mikus) Kapusta, loving sons; Michael J. Kapusta (Julia), Thomas A. Kapusta (Julie) and brother Joseph Kapusta (Frances Antonia) Relatives and Friends may attend his Viewing Monday, 9/28/2020, 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the KISH FUNERAL HOME, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
