1964 – 2018 STRAIN James (Jimmy) J. Strain, Jr., age 54, of Springfield, PA, beloved husband of Nancy A. (nee Hartman), loving father of Ryan, Jake and Jamie Strain, dear brother of Bryan Strain (Julie) and Karen Strain. Jimmy was a 1982 graduate of Springfield High School, he worked as a Registered Plumber. He enjoyed darts with friends, fishing trips with his children, and all Philadelphia Sports. Jim especially loved his family, and was infamous around Delaware County to the referees and umpires at his children’s sporting events. He will be remembered for his outlandish sense of humor and his ability to spread positivity to those around him. Relatives and Friends may attend a visitation on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Parish, 1035 Turner Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026, Visitation from 9:00-9:45 AM and the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 AM, Interment Private. Memorial Donations in Jim’s name, may be made to the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Rd # 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
