1929-2019 SIEGLE Eleanor F. Siegle (nee Friedrich) age 90, of Havertown, PA passed away on November 21, 2019. Beloved Wife of the late Edward W. Siegle, Sr., Mother of the late Linda Uhl. Loving Mother of Edward (Michelle) W. Siegle, Jr., Barbara (Steve) A. Joachim, and Kathy (Michael) E. Ricketts and son in law Timothy Uhl. Also blessed with 13 Grand and 18 Great Grandchildren. Eleanor graduated from Sharon Hill High School and later from Drexel University. After World War II, she worked for the CIC and spent her first three years of marriage in Germany while her husband Ed bravely served in the Army. After raising her family, she became an Administrative Assistant at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Eleanor had many interests and lived life to the fullest. She was an active member of The Presbyterian Church of Llanerch for much of her life where she made many lifelong friends. She was an avid reader, bridge player, trivia and travel enthusiast. Eleanor was extremely warm and inclusive with everyone she met. She loved to converse and genuinely loved learning about people and sharing stories. Above all, Eleanor loved and cherished her large family bringing incredible joy to their lives while being fulfilled by the love she received. A dear friend said, “What an honor to be her children, living life with her casual and positive outlook, encompassing her wit, verve, class, and inner strength.
