Fulmer 1927~2019 Charles “Charlie” Fulmer, longtime resident of Folsom PA, died peacefully in Naaman’s Creek Country Manor on May 11, 2019 in Garnet Valley, PA at the age of 91. Charlie was the son of the late Charles F. Fulmer and Emily Cizmarik, and was preceded in death by his brother Robert Fulmer. He is survived by his sister Emily Fulmer Matics of Coatesville PA, his sister-in-law Mickey Fulmer of Philadelphia PA, his beloved cousin Jackie Bruckler Bohlken of Sonoma, CA, and his many nieces and nephews, for whom he was their delightful “Uncle Charlie”: Emily Byrne (John), Sally Fedin (George), Gayle White (Clive), Robert Fulmer Jr, Charles Fulmer (Joan) John Fulmer (Kate), Gerald Matics (Alice) and John Matics (Donna), along with many great-nieces and great-nephews. Charlie was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from John Bartram High School in 1946. He worked for Pantry Pride/Food Fair for thirty-five years, retiring in 1978. After his retirement, Charlie travelled the United States and enjoyed fishing, RV camping and visiting Harrah’s in Atlantic City. Charlie was accomplished at fixing things and built a vacation home in Galloway, NJ. He was a lifelong, avid Phillies fan, having attended games at Connie Mack Stadium. He usually never missed a televised game. Relatives and friends may attend his viewing on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 12:00 – 12:45 PM at the Kish Funeral Home, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. A Celebration of his Life will follow at 1:00 PM, Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. A special thanks to the staff at Naaman’s Creek Country Manor for their care of Uncle Charlie.

My sincerest condolences to the Fulmer Family. I have known Charlie for 15 years and he saw how good of a worker I was mowing other neighbor's lawns and he asked me to do his. After I would finish mowing his lawn we would talk for quite a while and watch the Phillies or a game show he had on TV. I found all of his stories very enjoyable. I will greatly miss his smile and his company very much. I thought of Charlie as a close friend and neighbor. Charlie you will be truly missed by me.
