CECELIA T. KRULIKOWSKI: 1925~2019 Cecelia T. Krulikowski, age 94, died quietly at home after a long illness on July 7, 2019. She is survived by her daughter Marianne Krulikowski. In addition, she is survived by nieces and nephews, including Patricia Long, Elizabeth Kingsley, Mark Klevence, Anne Krulikowski, Carol Harrington and Victor Krulikowski. Survivors also include her cousin Hedwig Kokoszka and her sister-in-law Marie Krulikowski. In July 1948, Cecelia received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army for service during and immediately after WWII. During the war, she served as a Medical Technician assigned to military hospitals in Georgia and North Carolina, where she helped care for wounded soldiers. In 1947, Cecelia elected to stay in the Army and go overseas as part of the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations. Her new duties required a shift from medical to administrative support required by the Army in every part of Italy as it began its recovery from the war. Throughout her life, in school, the military or at work, Cecelia always exceeded expectations. Awards, commendations and medals are evidence of her pursuit of excellence and life-long commitment to learning. Cecelia was genuinely devoted to her family. She could be counted on when help was needed or companionship was required. It wasn’t a showy devotion, but a steady reliability and genuine caring. As the last of seven children to die, her passing marks the end of the first chapter of her parents’ journey from Poland to America. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Thursday, July 11th, 11-12:15 PM at the Kish Funeral Home, Inc. 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Service to follow at 12:30 PM in the Main Chapel. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to Philabundance or to the charity of your choice.
